The closest rugby club to Clifton (just across the Clifton Suspension Bridge) with our spiritual home (well pub) in Clifton village, and with a laidback approach, a tradition of running rugby, three teams and a thriving minis section, we've got something for everyone.

Robbie Rugby-Fest!!!
Well done to both teams - this memorial match was played in great spirits and entertaining style. Also entertaining was the list of Raffle prizes. Mel B's coffee cups anyone? (no euphemism). But the main thing was raising money, which we did - £2500 for CLIC-Sargent. Thanks and well done to everyone involved.

Fancy Dress Workout...
Weird and wacky costumes were out in force for the first Robbie Stuart fancy dress workout in aid of charity. Organised by Ben Morris, the gruelling challenge was designed to pay tribute to the club's former second team captain Robbie Stuart who lost his battle with leukaemia in November, while helping CLIC Sargent, a charity close to his heart - read more in the full article in the Bristol Evening Post - which also made it into Rugby World!

Minis' festival a massive success!

Farewell to a Club Legend.
On Saturday 8th November Robbie Stuart passed away following his, typical for Robbie, brave year-long battle against leukaemia. Having steered the Club 2nds to their finest recent season in 2006-7 and entertained thousands as Brizzly Bear at Bristol RFC he embodied all that is great about the game he loved.
The Evening Post has run this article in his honour, and all players and his many friends are invited to his funeral on Wednesday 19th - details from any of the club committee.

The rugby is just one section of the Sports Club. The natural close links with the Cricket and Hockey clubs make for entertaining social events and provides sporting opportunities beyond the rugby pitch.
